19-20 Transfers
Big scoop by @dennisdoddcbs. Big Ten has "quietly" proposed NCAA legislation allowing one-time transfers in all sports without sitting out a year. Michigan AD Warde Manuel supports it.

This was mentioned during the Rutgers/Michigan game on Saturday. Something tells me the big schools would benefit most so sure Michigan would support it. I don’t disagree with it but not heard how they would stop it from looking like free agency. Then again isn’t that what grad transfer year is?

Would be good for us with potential mid major transfers. But we'd also probably lose our best players to blue blood types or another good program like TT with Tariq.

: La Salle forward PF Ed Croswell will opt to transfer; averaging over 10 points and seven rebounds during his sophomore season. 6’8” & 245 pounds

He should transfer closer to home

Oh wait.
Maybe there is a Big 5 school that is actually a little closer to home. Then all he would have to do is petition the NCAA for immediate eligibility claiming he has to take care of a sick parakeet at home. ;) :)

Big kid at 250 and mobile too. Could play either 4 or be an undersized 5. I’m assuming he’d have to sit a year though?

Unless new rule passes effective coming season for one time “no wait“ transfer that ACC & Big Ten proposed.

Western Illinois guard Kobe Webster is in the NCAA Transfer Portal, a source tells @247Sports. Averaged 17.1 PPG this season. Has hit 184 three-pointers in his career. Graduate transfer.

Gotta love that 37% career 3pt %.... when is the last time we got a Grad-transfer? Don't recall us getting many of these guns-for-hire.

Kobe Webster has already heard from Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Nebraska and Ball State. Would expect him to get quite a bit of interest.

Matt A already reached out to a potential transfer 30 seconds after he announces he's transferring? Color me surprised!
