Kahlil Whitney’s transfer is something that’s been rumored for a few weeks now. One potential school to watch here could be Georgetown.

I never understood why Whitney was a top 10 recruit. Dude looked absolutely lost at UK this year. 5 star athleticism but questionable IQ and ball skills.

Although he played in Jersey he is from the midwest (Chicago?) . Could the Illini get involved?

Absolutely, they were in his final 4. Would not be surprised if he decides to turn pro as well.

Syracuse, N.Y. ― Patrick Tapé was set to visit Syracuse University in late February for the Orange’s game against North Carolina, but the graduate transfer from Columbia University has moved up visit to this weekend.

Tapé, a 6-foot-10 center, will be on the SU campus this weekend, according to a source, and will be in attendance at the Carrier Dome on Saturday night when the Orange hosts 9th-ranked Duke.

Tapé has reportedly scheduled a visit to Maryland on Feb. 15. Georgetown, USC, Virginia Tech, Arizona and others have also been in contact with him.

No St. John's???.wow.
Yeah I understand that he might not be cma's type of player, but at the end of the day we still need a real big or 2.
Real disappointed to hear that we aren't involved

Yeah and he is the real PG I was alluding to in a post earlier this week. Would love to have him alongside Posh during his Posh's first year. Any interest?
Have not heard any, but staff really keeps things quiet as they should.

Heard from an alum about some interest or activity between Smith and St. John's, maybe someone more plugged in to recruiting can check on this.
Don't want to start anything crazy but also heard of a possible twins reunion in Queens.

As in Julian's brother at Pitt? If that's the rumor, I thought Pitt was giving him lots of PT and has been doing well there. I'd take him but would be a bit odd.

We'll need one that can shoot. I am not plugged into how well Posh shoots, but it's not a reported strength.
