19-20 Transfers

I love seeing all these other BE schools on transfer lists.....................
Funny, we complain when we are forced to go after transfers because we didn’t recruit HS players and then we complain when we sign players early leaving us only 1 ship in the spring. Never gonna be happy.

Personally I don’t think I complain much.

What I do know is we have 1-2 ships and pretty clear needs in a big man and someone else capable of scoring on a consistent basis. We have a good core so can afford to get some hired guns aka grad transfers. We’re still trying to build a base and do so quicker rather than more years of losing. So get two more warm bodies in here and then flip switch to 21.

I don’t disagree. It should be pretty easy to get a good grad transfer big here which is my concern. We have PT to give and no competition. Not sure why we aren’t a good landing spot because if anybody saw us this year they’d know we are going to be competitive.
FWIW Demeo following Charles Mineland Jr and his father on Twitter
If we lose a couple SFs who we thought we were going to lose, then I'm 101 percent behind this. Even if he couldn't do anything at the BE level, the last name alone would mean huge crowd pops every time he entered the game.

That might be the problem -- kids outside our immediate area probably aren't watching or following us.

It's worth something until he unfollows. :(

Any more rumors out there of Torro (GW big) signing with us this week? It's gotten awful quiet with respect to his recruitment.

Any updates on Brandon Johnson from Western Michigan? He was discussed about 3 pages ago.

Shouldn't he be transferring to the NBA by now?

Dodged a large bullet here

@EvanDaniels reported Patrick Tape has decommitted from Duke. Columbia grad-transfer had committed to the blue blood last week. Blue Devils’ frontcourt remains a strong one, a group we assessed yesterday

Wichita State transfer Jamarius Burton has cut his list to five finalists, he told @Stockrisers: Xavier, Ohio State, Marquette, Texas Tech and Seton Hall.

With the Shockers averaged 10.5 points per game. Sit one, play two
