The illegal screens are infuriating to me. But they don't call it. I watched for this specifically during their last game vs Marquette. Samson Johnson is literally never in legal position when setting a screen. Elbows out, legs out, moving. The one time they called it was when the Marquette player sold it by tripping over him.

Agree we should be in there going 2-1 as long as politics (power conference) doesn’t rear its ugly head. Last years selection committee was a real eye opener to the importance of representation on the selection committee. Hopefully Val has figured that one out.
I’ll never forget that from last year. In my younger days, I probably would have brought some bar be cue sauce covered chicken and thrown it at him. The ejection would have been worth it.

Good to remind ourselves of our initial expectations.
They only make the most blatant of calls. Off the ball it has to almost be comical to get a whistle. They let Clingan spread his feet 3-4 feet last year and start his "roll" just as the defender got to him which essentially amounts to the two WR crossing pick play in football. Just make a basketball move and 99% of the time it's okay. We'll see how much they like that when Maker does it next year.
