Definitely someone from the portal. They’ll want to commit quick to start assimilating. Like MJDinkins said my money would be on Clayton if Inhad to guess. Now who his first HS commit is would be much more interesting. Not many top 100 undecideds left in the 23 class so it may be a 24 guy. Who knows who could recommit too.
He gets it, pure and simple. None of that BS "it's gonna take some time", blah, blah,blah. I'm not expecting to hear that oft uttered phrase "be patient, his teams always peak late in the season". Pitino understands the fan base. He understands the urgency to win. That's because he's a winner.
If that's the case, only a matter of time before the haters accuse RP of "raiding" Iona.

If the kids enter the portal, they are leaving Iona. They can go where they get the best fit, why not here?
Couple of posters on the Iona board are ripping Rick for possibly bringing some Iona players with him to St. John's. And others, maybe the same ones?, are hoping that Tobin brings some players with him from FDU. Hilarious.
Agree, but not everyone does. Those looking to throw some shade on RP will find an excuse, regardless of how lame an excuse it may be

I would be absolutely shocked if Storr goes, or is he isn't a starter. If Pitino wants shooters he isn't letting the best 3point shooter in the conference go.
As to the second, i.e. he isn't a starter, I hope that happens. Imagine how good we have to be for Storr to be a bench player.

I think Soriano is the only one to be guaranteed a starting spot. Everyone else is going to have to earn it. Storr is a great shooter but needs work on defense. With one year under his belt, I think he can easily earn that spot.
I believe it was his scrotum. And there were other complaints from players and parent. Was a bit of a loose cannon as I recall and then pissed off the admin trying to leverage other jobs for a new contract or something like that.
