Ehh, I would argue it does factor in. Posh has BE ROY, BE DPOY under his belt. He has shown the ability to make opposing point guards lives a living hell. He has shown he is willing to keep his head down and work hard. He is competitive and wants badly to win. A really rough junior year but... there were clearly issues with the team and I think Pitino is a smart basketball mind. Will understand Posh can be a valuable piece even if his role is diminished under his reign

I believe he is talking about Ian Jackson but i could be wrong.....Saw then Frank mentioned they are going to put a full court press on Boogie Fland from Stepanic.

He is going to look at our roster and see what pieces fit his style. Again I like Posh better but I am not sure he fits what Pitino likes to do. I predict pretty big roster overhaul.
I agree. Posh will be a important part of the team next season . If Clayton comes here , they would likely share time . Not necessarily at the same time . Curbelo will be Rick’s decision . AC has been at 2 Schools already and seems to have problems getting along with Coaches . There is no question he has flashy ability . Just not consistency . Plus , he’s not that good a shooter . We will see what happens .
Lebron didn't want to play in New York, I don't see him wanting his son to but boy that would be pretty crazy and would not doubt show the appeal of Pitino.
A bit nonsensical but , hey what the heck . Both Fr Shanley and Ed Cooley have transferred out of PC . Coincidence ? To other BE jobs .
Supposedly Father Shanley was forced to leave because of something to do with the church leaders not wonting him to lead for a 3rd term. Something along those lines, don’t quote me. But he didn’t leave on his own.
LeBron didn't not want to play in New York. He met with the Knicks when he was a free agent after his first stint in Cleveland.
The meeting is now infamous in Knicks history because apparently it was incredibly embarrassing and let LeBron know there was no shot he could play for the franchise.
Dolan demanded he run the meeting which is prob why it was so bad.
But yea Bronny probably staying west coast based on what I have heard

I feel like Posh doesn't want to handle the ball as much as your typical alpha dog point and is more than willing to share, BUT not being in control of deferring messes with his game big time. Legit combo guard at the 2 works great I think.
Yes , of course that all happened . But , it’s a bit whimsical to think of the good Father as being a transferee . Can you imagine the Politics that goes on in these Religious Orders? My my .., We were very fortunate to have Fr Shanley become our President . He’s a Leader by any definition

Pitino press conference not exactly ringing endorsement for Posh style of play.
Not sure why, both I believe are top 20 in their class.
One already committed to UNC while the other hasn’t committed anywhere yet

Committed to a team where the coach may or may not be iffy, and did so when local team was not trending in right direction. I think those are factors people are considering when hoping something happens with Jackson.
I like Fland better anyway. I'll be sure to tell Rick this next time he calls me.
Curbelo fails Rick's tests 2 ways (at least): not committed to winning and (ii) can't shoot. he's gone.
