I didn't sat anything of the kind. I still put blame on both coaches and players for our miserable season. My response was to a post that blamed the coach for the low basketball IQ of the players without considering that their low basketball IQ may have caused them to not properly respond to coaches direction.
Uh….Ok. Whatever you say. 😉

How could Soriano sign elsewhere? The pen would slip through his fingers like the basketball did about 15-20 times today. Easy baskets become contested(or layup misses) when you don't catch the ball cleanly. Several rebounds went right through his hands and how many times did he lose it on the double team? Disgusting, wonder if he could even do a fingertip push-up? Shouldn't be a problem at this level for someone his size.
Stop, dude!

I appreciated Joel's growth/effort over his 2 years. One of the products of our free flow offense is that they really don't run plays for Joel. For out 33 game season Joel averaged 10 shots a game; yet, he averaged 15 points/game. Imagine if they ran plays for him where he would get one on one opportunities. I hope he returns with someone who can set up some plays.

When regulation ended, I said to my wife, that we wouldn't score for 4 minutes and then they go 0-7 from the field. Typical CMA dry spell.

Soriano was not a weak one-on-one player. He was weak when surrounded.
Soriano's only 1 on 1 move is backing his man up. He improved his outside jumper but he doesn't possess the quickness or ball handing ability to face the basket and attack. He is a throwback center that we always coveted. A Bob Lanier type without the strength. A Kofi Cockburn type without the intimidating presence on defense.
With a competent backcourt he is a treasure to have but our backcourt sucked this year.
Both Posh and Curbelo failed the lead guard test.

One of the worst posts in the history of this board. And that's saying something. What type of a grown man insults kids?

What exactly is the problem? Did you watch the game? How many balls did you see him fumble? Criticizing is not insulting, I hope he does come back, and puts in the work to make himself better.

Great atmosphere at MSG today…the boys gave it there all but the same issues that have plagued them throughout the year were their undoing…

UCONN-Providence game was amazing with both schools having large fan bases and the Friars almost coming all the way back from 26 down….was planning to go semifinals tomorrow night, but don’t think I can stand listening to Huskie fans

Wusu get his fair share of criticism from many of us, but he came to play both nights and almost willed us to a win single handedly

Wow! The crowd got ugly while I was away! Anyway I got all excited when I heard that a BE coach got fired today. Unfortunately it wasn't the one I was hoping for.
;)

He’d have more rebounds if he boxed out. One particular play towards the end of the game he got rebounded over and scored on. Something a simple box out would have prevented.

Soriano brings the ball down below his waist way to often. He goes up weak often and throws up bricks. He should work on moving and keeping his pivot foot in place. That would help his game. Also working on the bank shot that Tim Duncan was a master at. If he works on that he would be a better player. Hope he comes back and Pitino is the new coach.
