Help Locate Members Who Haven't Posted In Awhile

Wasn’t there a poster Spocky Ramone or something of that nature? He would post all the time. He had a good sense of humor.

Also is Sirvoo still around. Edit- just realized sirvoo still does post I just didn't recognize him cause he used to have this distinct profile pic of someone playing the guitar apologies for not knowing who

Also I saw someone say usguard is johnny rapper and I highly doubt that. I always remember usguard having this certain way of writing that i dont think he would abandon

I met Salty Long time ago at slyfox randomly I was with SJUFAN2 and I think Moose and Redstormrising. He was a nice guy he was with a couple older timer guys I think from the site

JFC Jack it was Jerry Garcia, I’m probably only 10 years older than you, don’t make me feel that old. He’s before both our times!

Crazy how nostalgic reading all this is. I joined in 10th grade, around 19 years ago. Probably threw up that picture of Jerry when I was stoned in study hall. I loved to start shit back then.

Fast forward to today and my 2 little girls think I’m deranged when they’re in my presence during Johnnies games. You should see the look of bewilderment on their faces. The passion never dies fellas and a lot of it is thanks to this site and the gentlemen who post routinely, moderate daily and of course Paul who is the heartbeat of it all.

Theo was an interesting dude. He'd probably chastise me for using the term "dude". Sat with me at a couple of games during the Lav area. Smart guy and nice guy, but if I remember correctly, he would not stay away from political and social topics on the board.

My twin boys are six months old. Debating whether or not to turn them into St. John's fans or save them from a lifetime of misery.

hahaha that is my bad I knew I should have known that guy.

But no you are absolutely right re the nostalgic feelings this site can bring.

I made a name for myself on this site when I was in high school. Our school let everyone use iPads when at school but they'd block almost every site that wasn't remotely educational.

But for a high school in Delaware, "redmen.com" was not on their radar. So I'd be in class all day, as a 15-18 year old, just shooting the shit on this forum LOL.

Those formative years before I actually attended SJU, were my peak years in terms of how into the team I was. I would have taken several bullets for D'Angelo Harrison, that whole group was like the Beatles in my eyes lol.

Then I went to the actual school, where everyone was also fans of the team obviously, and it weirdly made it like a less special experience for me. Still fun, but there was someone special about those years in high school where the only ones who gave a shit about St Johns in my area was me and my dad. Amazing memories
 
Southern Johnny? I can’t believe no one has mentioned Old Red. If you were there the day he hit the eject button on BEB then you have been around for some of the worst times in sju ball history. I guess I’ve only been around for the worst actually
