Unless something goes drastically wrong, Judge is going to win his 3rd MVP in the past 4 years and he is a Dodger Stadium concrete wall away from winning 4 in a row. Postseason aside, we are witnessing greatness on another level during these regular seasons and numbers wise, this season can be one of the best seasons in the history of MLB.

Weaver is missed in the bullpen.
Williams has done well enough in the closing spot (hasn't cost us a game, at least), but everybody else in the pen has moved up a spot in the pecking order. Really, no one has filled Williams's old role of key setup man. That's where the problems have been in Weaver's absence.

Great effort from Clarke Schmidt last night. Grisham ditched the laissez faire effort in center to make two sensational diving catches. Wells and Volpe with big hits, and Judge with another bomb. Leiter was brutal last night, but Williams did a good job cleaning up. Need to get the sweep tonight, and then go to Fenway and exact revenge.
No doubt Schmidt was excellent last night, but you could feel it unraveling for Leiter.
Chisholm needs to find a way to stay on the field. Now it looks like he has a groin issue.

Great job sweeping a road series, as well as the season series over the Royals.
Really nice job by Warren tonight, and Williams for a non-finger biting save! Great job by Loaziaga too.
Reyes barely scores the winning run, a bit luckily.
The strikeout of Judge was a joke.

Both of those pitches to Judge, the 2-2 and the 3-2, were probably strikes, but after taking the 2-2, I can understand why he took the payoff pitch. The 2-2 had more of the plate, IMO.

Will Woman pitched really well, and I still have no idea why Boone pulled him after only 77 pitches. The man does not know how to manage a pitching staff. They did just enough to win, and got good efforts from the back end of the bullpen. On to Fenway and they need to set the tone tonight.
