Yankees 2025 Season

With the way Crochet dominated them tonight, they were lucky that it got to extras. Pitching did their job to keep it close - the hitters didn't get it done. Judge with a bomb, but that was it. Umps were horrific in the 10th. Tough loss to take.

I had no problem with it.
I'm not a "don't make the first out at third base guy." I want him scoring on a base hit, and we had already squandered first and third nobody out, because they didn't send the runner from second base.
I also don't get the overturn on that. It was very, very close.
 
So tired of losing to bad teams. The Red Sux come alive when the Yankees show up. Yankees lost their composure in the 10th. I don't like the play by Volpe. Wasted a great effort by the pitching staff.

ABs all night were awful. Why not work the damn count.

1st and 3rd, no outs in the 5th and Wells and Peraza have horrible ABs. Tired of seeing bad ABs from Peraza, especially.

0 and 2 to Navarez was a horrible pitch.

Strong arms in the Boston outfield, and if Dominguez hits one the other way and flares and single into left field, Volpe probably doesn't score.

It's far from a given, IMO, even with nobody out.

Then he's at 3rd with no outs, but he's fast.
 
In real-time when Volpe was initially called safe, my thought process was that it was a dumb choice. One of those that if you do go you better make it. Runner on 2nd no one out, Dominguez batting lefty giving the catcher a clear shot at Volpe at third.

Knowing your bullpen is minus the current closer Williams, you must score in that inning. Volpe though fast is not the smartest baserunner, evidence of his fifth caught stealing after the call was overturned. Poor game management for all those involved.
 
Can the Yankees at least have a pair to split these 6 games, if so then gotta win tonight and tomorrow. Stf up.

Boston is an under 500 team and the Yankees can't at least split with them? Then I'll lose respect for them.
Yeah the Yankees are in 1st and all that.

You can't get punked by your rival though especially when they're bad.

Hate everything about the RedSox especially their pos manager.

Win these 2 last games.
 
Yankees have met their krytonite. And it's the Boston Red Sux.

Full transparency, I did not watch the game. Judge has to be better than 3 strikeouts.

Disappointing team. Just not hitting. They struggle against Bello. This will be a Red Sux sweep.
 
At some point, Boone has to be held accountable for how bad a baserunning team they are. Dominguez getting caught off of second killed a potential scoring chance. This, the night after Volpe gets thrown out at third in the 10th. This has been the norm throughout his tenure, and nothing ever changes. If Judge doesn't hit, this team doesn't score. Rodon struggled again, and De Los Santos was outstanding in relief, and gave them a chance late. Just terrible offensive baseball this series, and they aren't exactly inspiring confidence in what they can do this season.
