Funny story. My grandson Tommy was a 3 sport athlete before he was paralyzed in an accident. He was recruited hard not because he played basketball in high school, but because the more severe your injury the more points you were allowed. Tommy was worth 2 points.
 
It comes from the court or house settlement that each school can pay up to 20.5 million to their athletes so it’s same for all schools. You might be talking about TV contract revenue which is different for each conference.
