I believe Holtmann was right D’P hire.Assuming Depaul holds on here, this will have been a good start for Holman. Not a good start for Cooley though.
Berry was player of year and was drafted like 14 and had bad last game vs Auburn in tournament.Agree on point 2. Would have been great to have Berry with Mark Jackson for 1986-87 season. But Berry left at the right time, as did Harkless, An 11 year career and 67 million in career earnings for Harkless is reason enough. Cook and Barkley left too soon. As one former scout told me before his St. John's career ended, Ponds just didn't shoot it well enough for the NBA. Probably needed more maturity as well.
An easier path for you would be to choose whoever Mullin’s Revenge predicts will blow up. That will be our worst player every year.Is it too late to change the carmineabbatiello 2024/25 Mfp recipient from RJ to Vince?
Last season was bad enough when I was on our best player by a country mile in Daniss.
But now a BE conference POY award winner? This is getting ridiculous. I really must choose more carefully going forward.
I'll take that into consideration next season. An easier path for you would be to choose whoever Mullin’s Revenge predicts will blow up. That will be our worst player every year.
Let’s cut out the middle man.
don't think he read your post!Thrilled w RJ’s health recovery and great season. My unsolicited suggestion is for him to relax at beginning of games in the ”let the game come to me” manner. Imo, he tends to rush a bit if he has a slow start. Not comparing him to Mullin by any stretch, but Chris was a master at that and, if cold initially, knew the value of passing deftly to open guys. To be fair, RJ has become a much better passer. Imo, he just needs to let himself get into flow of game early and not press.
