Memo to self: do not worry about this being a one year wonder. The program is in amazing hands.
There is no doubt players, families, and agents are aware of how these players are thriving. And many will crave to be a part of it and have the same success as well.
Exhibit 1: The staff took a talented, but frenetic rising sophomore from a in a lower conference, and helped transform him into a high major conference player of the year by his junior year.
Exhibit 2: The staff took a talented, but stuck on the bench rising sophomore from a blue blood, and helped transform him into a first team all conference and most improved player by his junior year.
Exhibit 3: The staff took a talented first team BE player from the portal with one year of eligibility remaining and helped transform him into a do everything player, leader, and coach on the floor. While he “dropped” to BE second team, his unique game jumped to a new level and proved to everyone that he can put his stamp on the game without use of the ball in his hands.

Congratulations RJ. I as hard on him last year, and I guess understated the impact that his injuries had on him. Very happy to see the progress to what he has been for us this year. Kudos, and please come on back!!!

One more year and he'll be a top 5 draft pick.

It's not possible for the BE poy to go undrafted. Barbecue chicken did and RJ is infinitely more athletic with much more of an NBA body type.
Completely different players.
He said first round or he'll stay. In this years draft that will be difficult. No point to risk it if you getting a nice fat check and be kid in NYC at his age playing 35 games and living the life with not as much pressure
He wins Big East POY and he gets the trophy presented to him by the lead singer from Hanson? Have yourself a day.
