The SJ teams always ate like it was the last supper when they had home pre-game meals at Dante. I had several meals there back in the day when the team and coaches were dining and the chef was so overwhelmed every time that we had to expect to wait a hour before even getting our appetizers.

I recall from my pre-Nil coaching days that my poor, starving college student athletes absolutely LOVED the post-game meal. We didn't do a pre-game eat. Probably as much as the match, if we won, and more than the match if they lost.
