My brother in law always talks about playing with Brian and his brother. Wonder if you know him. Bob McLoughlin?I grew up with Brian. He lived on the next block from me in RVC. He's really a great guy.
There was a point in time when some guy sitting on the wooden bleachers in the end zone at Alumni Hall used to hold up a sign that read "Mahoney Must Go."I grew up with Brian. He lived on the next block from me in RVC. He's really a great guy.
Met him a few times w Jack Powers, Manhattan AD, when I lived in Riverdale. He was indeed a nice guy, but having attended many Jasper games when he was the HC, it was clear his playing accomplishments did not translate to being an able HC. Not sure what people at SJU were thinking hiring him here. There was a point in time when some guy sitting on the wooden bleachers in the end zone at Alumni Hall used to hold up a sign that read "Mahoney Must Go."
That guy was me. Obviously they did in fact let him go, at least as a coach. Now he sits not far from me in the stands.
Yes, great guy. It's possible he was a worse coach than Norm. I'd have to think about that - except I don't want to think about it.
Me too! Williamsburg. We lived on New York Ave. in Flatbush.John Gotti 75

I do not know Bob but I'll bet that he probably played ball in Brian's driveway. A lot of guys did.My brother in law always talks about playing with Brian and his brother. Wonder if you know him. Bob McLoughlin?
I hate 9 o'clock starts; always iffy that I will last through the second half. But if I had to miss the close of a game this would probably be my vote for best one to miss. What the f is this game at 9pm. Against DePaul, it should be 4:30.
