Yesterday afternoon people were worrying about a trap game/letdown and today it was just a glorified scrimmage.
I hate when people say stuff like this. Its like when we play somebody and they shoot the ball badly and someone says "well, we were fortunate that they shot the ball badly". No, we MADE THEM shoot the ball badly. Yes DePaul sucks. But they were at home and we were missing two guys, including arguably the BE POY. It looked like a glorified scrimmage because our coach- of recent "where is your f***ing toughness??" fame- doesn't allow letdowns and our guys came out with max effort. You might not take anything from that but I sure as hell do.
