Gotta give UConn credit there other games use to be broadcast on their PBS some Shulman trying to sell Bee Gee tapes and some shit hole dance hall in Wallingford and frisbee’s.
Lappas is on CBSSN, I heard Sparnakel doing color on a BIG game last week, think he's the best color guy.
Spanarkel has always been excellent . Isn’t he a Jersey City guy too?
Thus , might be too lenient on Hurley’s antics .
I really don't mind any of the main ones except Lappas and even then its mostly his delivery.
I watched part of the "Locked On UConn" Youtube video a couple of pages back which was a UConn vs St. John's Preview and part of the discussion was about the referees. They thought that since Breeding reffed the Creighton/Providence game on February 5th in Providence that Breeding would stay in the CT area and be assigned to our game tonight against UConn. Surprisingly, they dislike Breeding as much as we do and the two guys on the preview are concerned that this game is going to become a foul fest. Interesting perspective from UConn fans.
In addition they spent a lot of time discussing our inability to shoot and they felt Hurley is going to develop a game plan to counteract our switching defense.

If we can have a D Smith that was playing very well prior to his injury, we win this game. Zach B made an interesting comment. Prior to Siths injury we were top 50 offensively in the country. Since he was out the Johnnies dropped to barely top 80s. I think a big issue has been the lack of offensive contributions from our bench and Wilcher’s never ending shooting slump.
And he's a dookie but he's still the best.

It feels really nice to go into a UConn matchup as the higher ranked team looking to avoid the upset!! How often has that happened in our lifetimes!

I dont trust anything out of Hurleys mouth. Mahaney and diarra will be full go and mcneely will play 30 plus minutes.

Still does games, just not seeing him that much on ours. Great guy, and good commentator, warm spot for St. John's even though he went to Duke.
Yes, Jersey City, though I am no certain of this, and obviously he would not admit it openly, I don't think he is a fan of the younger Hurley boy.
I know that there used to be a bylaw for the BE that required average capacity at games that was above CA's total so the MSG games, even if they were not in a season when STJ were going to draw much, were required. Not sure that still exists.
