Have heard it could be an internal hire…Shanley in charge….apparently RP not involved in decision (at least saying he isn’t aware)…also potential plans to re-do CA (down to 4500) with more seating closer to floor…no details beyond someone having had a quick view of the plans

College hoops was great last season. The big east was great last season. Paying players may make college hoops even better.

Pitino vs Hurley in the garden next year. Are you kidding me?

The big east has the best collection of coaches its ever had. This may be the best, most competitive big east season ever.

StJohns should have their best team in 20 years.

Why not Bring back Dave Wegzyrn ?

Who did a great job of letting Grady Reynolds play after he attacked a female student breaking her knee. Then when Jarvis and the deuce were let go by Father Harrington saved the University money by failing to hire an Asst Coach. Then Pittsburgh happened. Then the greatest AD in sju history made the greatest hire of all time hiring SJU coach Norm Roberts, Norm did a great job not winning games. Dave’s succes at St John’s led him to gigs at Providence College and his alma mater Bryant University , Seriously SJU needs to bring Mr Wegzyrn back in the fold.

We’d really be on top of the world if Wright didn’t tap out at nova. Heavyweight uconn/nova battles in the BET wouldve been nuts.

I still am holding out hope that if nova has one more mediocre season he jumps back in like Bob iger

Likely on Nova suffering another mediocre season, although many Nova faithful see Bulgarian commit Aleksandar Gavalyugov as a difference maker this season.

Unlikely on seeing Wright coach at a D1 college again.
