Does anyone really think we hire an AD that both Shanley and Pitino don’t support? As long as it is their show, and their pick, I don’t care who we get for the position.

I completely trust Shanley and Pitino in making this hire and they deserve all of our benefits of the doubt. Even if its someone who's been here for 20 years, its their vision that they'll be enacting + I'm thankful they see dramatic changes are needed.

Obviously a pretty minor thing in the grand scheme, but I was always very disappointed he couldn't revive the STJ/Duke series. If he had any pull at Duke, that would've happened.
