Trilly update, re: Cliff.
"I was told Cliff should start visits this week. Not sure who all is getting one. Reading the tea leaves I’d say Alabama is one. Possibly K-State, Florida and Baylor too. I’m sure there are others but it’s been hard to get a good read on him."

"I think he did an unofficial already there before the dead period. Reviews weren’t glowing so that’s why it’s opened up a bit more."

I think he did an unofficial, reports were not glowing. Seems like he is spit balling,
 
Do you think we go after both Brea & Scott? or is it one or the other? If so, which one would we prefer (or more likely to sign)?

I'm probably not the one to ask but Brea is more of a 2/3 while Scott is more of a 3/4, so there's less overlap. But I am curious about whether we go after Mitchell on top of Scott. It would be ideal, but the minutes at the 3/4 dry up very quickly.

I would also add that there is a need for a strong rebounder if Ledlum does not return.

That would make sense because they will provide spacing and give a guy like Kriisa open looks.

The team can play uptempo even without super quick players with proper spacing and ball movement. Creighton does it very well. But I also think SJU will bring in quicker players than Creighton has on its roster.

I think Brae and Scott would be a pair that fits well. I’d be ecstatic if we got them both and maybe that’s obvious now but I don’t think posters would have said that at end of the season.

With Luis you could play Brea at the 3 while RJ is at the 4. You could play Scott at the 4 with RJ at the 3. And you could play without RJ, with Brea at the 3 and Scott at the 4. Of course that still leaves Brady. Add Krissa with the two of these guys, and it would make it obvious we would be trying to shoot our way to wins.

Maybe it does not matter the way the game is played now, but I do not see Luis as a 4. I see him as a 2 or 3.

I know!!! It would have been right around page 143 but we got a bunch of extraneous posts not related to the specific portal targets. So I rescind my over under number!! Ha.

I think Rick can hand out the playing time that the player warrants . And , fits the team needs during the game .
Of course , that may not always fit the Players assessment of their playing time .
Any word on Taylor ? Has he landed anywhere yet?

Not saying he would come back or that RP wants him back but , stranger things have happened .

Just an aside , did CMA recruit Brea out of HS?
Local players should always get a good look from SJU . Players that can shoot are hot commodities for any team .
We will see if RP has interest in him .
