Trying to be patient and not get frustrated, especially because we only have 5 available scholarships so it's not like we're putting together a whole roster from scratch this time. But I'd be lying if I said my patience isn't starting to wear out, fast.

Yeah I particularly don't mind not signing anyone yet. It's more just the tea leave reading doesn't seem very good.
At the same time, though, it doesn't jive with what we know the staff did: decline on Bensley, tell Taylor he won't have guaranteed playing time.

Just think we're recruiting guys of a higher caliber than Providence, for example, so these things are more competitive/take longer/have more twists & turns.

These kids in the portal are like 3 time divorcees expecting you to attend/care about their next destination wedding. WHO CARES. It’s fine if you’re 16-17 years old on your college visits but these kids need a reality check. Get off my lawn!!

good point made a lot of us if we signed cam Spencer would have been disappointed and look what he became. We need to trust Pitino if he sees more in a player then we do then that’s what matters. If we get Krissa I’ll trust Pitino sees something he likes and the kid will thrive here.

Remember last year when someone took a picture of Chris Ledlum at a steakhouse in April and we spent three pages going over his body language/saying how it wasn't a good sign. I think people forget how low we were all acting last year. lol

When you have not won a dance game in almost a quarter century, hire a HOF HC, have a decent NIL base, desperate fans like me tend to want immediate needle moving results. This Wild West environment precludes assuming anything. I think they have a good portal yield this off season and position us to compete well and possibly dance, but logic, as LMF has said, may make this is a three year process.

Nikko hibachi is pretty damn good.
Oh yeah, I'm guilty of that myself. I just think this year has actually been pretty tame compared to last year.
