I don't think it makes us the second best team in the nation, but I do think it is interesting that none of our 3 losses to UCONN were by as much as they won every single ncaa tournament game. Good job by the committee keeping us, and Seton Hall who actually beat UCONN, out of the tournament 👏

No but sane posters realize that the Johnnies at least deserved to be invited to the Dance over the bogus teams from the mountain west and others.

To think that we were in a position to beat them with under 5 minutes in two of our three match ups and then watch them roll over every team since we laid 90 points on them at the Garden validates Marillac2's position that Daniss Jenkins should have been 1st team All Big East.👅

The Mullin hire was one of the dumbest things this school has ever done and there have been a lot of those. The program is where it has been over these past two decades cause of asinine coaching hires like Mullin and Roberts.

Hurley was there for the taking but the school was too busy trying to appease an old coach rather then worry about winning.

Xavier lost to UConn by 5, Purdue by 12, Houston by 6, Marquette by 4, Creighton by 7, and Oakland by 1. And they beat SH by 20.

By Redmen math they are elite eight.

None taken . The game tonight had nothing to do with St Johns over the last 2 fr Decades .

Painter had no plan other than Smith to Edey over and over . Clingan has enough size and bulk to hold his own against Edey and he did..

Painter is one of many who won’t get a nano second of thought for the UK job .


Purdue was just terrible tonight . Embarrassed .
The BE planted a flag this season and this post season that it’s better than just about any other Conference ,,regardless of what the Selection Committee thinks .

Since you like stats so much…… in Big East tourney, Jenkins scores 27 points on 41% shooting, and 3 for 7, 43% from 3 with 5 assists against UConn yet you continue to badmouth the guy. By your standards he would have to score 60 points to be of value.
