Kid looks good. Nice touch from the outside. Reminded me of a more slender Yancy Gates.
More slender and shorter. Can't we find a 6'10 - 7'0 center instead of another blown up PF

As someone who was out in Vegas this past Summer and saw all the top teams. There aren't very many big guys in general. Let alone 6-10/7 Footers. The few guys like that are going to Duke. Kentucky. And UConn.

There are more bulky 6-8 PFs running around though like Ricardo and Zena. I'd love love to see us with. Slender 6-10 athlete. Trust me. They just don't really exist.

Norvel Pelle exists; he just doesn't think. (Sort of a Cartesian variation.)

Believe me, I want one too, and in the worst way. I've said several times I think that could really hamper our development down the line. But I think other posters are spot on when they say there's just so few of them, that you have to be elite, or get lucky.
We had one in Pelle, and it looks like we got in early with McCullough. Other than that, let's hope one of our recruits grows a few inches, like Moe did, or Lav can pull a rabbit out of his hat in the next few years.

Maybe we should have pushed harder for Blaise Mbargorba. He's like 7'1 and if you can believe it was 6/8 from 3-pt range in one game ts season for the Peddie school. We'll have to play against him at SMU in a few years. He seemed a finesse guy, but that size is just nice to have.
My last thought on Zena. We can talk all we want about wanting a slender 7 footer. Well, we probably aren't getting one and Zena is probably the top Available big man in the Country. I've seen him several times in the last 12 months and he is the real deal. The best part is, he's 6-7/6-8, and plays harder than anyone on the court every time out. If you're that big and strong and play that hard you're going to get things done and stuff the stat sheet. It doesn't hurt that he's strong, really athletic, and also fairly skilled in the post. If we really have a shot at him Winston and Him should be our top guys with a bigtime shooter our 3rd priority.

He's only 6'7 or 6'8?
In this interview, he doesn't mention us when asked for is top 5 to 10 schools.
3. Do you have a top 5-10 list of schools?
