please explain how/are we involved with this young man the the other Andrew Young - thanks

Yes, we're involved with Zena and Young. I guess you'll have to ask the coaches on the "how." LOL

It seems both of their games are growing. Not to mention, both of 'em goes about 6'9". We're also talking about kids who can help us on the both ends of the floor.

I'll be fine, if we can nab Young and Zena in April.

When your primary targets are no longer there, you need a backup plan.

Why I am indebted and welcome your insight, I really do, just in a silly perhaps flowing mood after a long day. I still never figured out "LOL" I think someone said "lots of laughs" but my particular type of brain is spinning out, let's see,

long on life?
leg of lamb?
lots of licorice? (candy was my favorite food as a kid growing up in Borough Park - that and bagels, pizza, egg rolls, hot dogs, you know health food - when I sold ice cream at Manhattan Beach during my HS days I would trade/barter an ice cream for a knish from the man carrying them in shopping bags etc. but you're not reallyl interested in this are you?)

enough, let's just get a few recruits, a few wins (not holding my breath, have sleep apnea though) and keep a little optimism in this site.

all the best

LOL means "Laugh out loud."

Agree.

Will he pass up a Harvard degree? He is their primary recruit to maintain their Ivy dominance.

All depends on what he wants to do. In this case, if he chooses a school like that for academic reasons, I can't find an iota of fault in it. That said, as an undergrad, I'm a believer that he can get the same things at SJU. It's up to the student. He does well as an undergrad anywhere and he can follow his academic dreams into any field.

solution: play ball at SJU and proceed to grad school in the Ivy League

all the best

It would be a huge huge get but this kid has the grades for Cal-Berkley, Harvard and UCLA. We may have come in too late.

Was he in fact your 'mystery' recruit?

I thought I saw a post from him a few days ago alluding to a big smart kid. Edo was my first thought when he said that, but didn't guess out loud in case I was right.

I think only one guy is off the table.

Sampson and Obekpa are still there, and the staff would take them and ZE if all are available.

But I think two out of three and a guard with decent size and they are thrilled with their haul.
