yukon game

This game is weird because it's like a reverse of how things usually go for us. We are usually down by 10 early then claw our way back right before half. Now it's UConn...and wow we have missed like 3 easy layups/dunks.
 
we have to start covering the 3 a lot better. if they get hot they can make it a game. btw they are terrible. and ollie stinks
 
Unreal how the refs refuse to call the easy travel on UConn, but quick to call it on us. If we don't go into half with a 10 pt lead it's going to be bad.
 
Up 11 at the half solely because of Marco who is 3/3 from downtown.
Amazing the staff could not figure out that we needed this kid before.
 
D'Lo's funk continues... he is c-c-cold. I could swear we scored a 3 that was not put up - I think we have 34? Anyway, we are showing some good D inside, just need to close down the 3. Our shot selection has been iffy at times. Could be up by a lot more.
 
@GgregLogan1 just tweeted thaTt he looked around the garden "and amazingly, most of the garden crowd in red. Not the usual horde of Uconn fans" What is your sense of the size of the crowd?> Announcer said late arriving but filling in.

Marco is deadly from long range but struggles on the 15 footers; tries to bank the short stuff. Gives us options we did not previoulsy have though.

That bank attempt was u g l y but I think his midrange game will come with more playing time.
 
If you told me DLo and Phil would be 1 for 13 and we'd be up by 11 at the half I would think you'd lost your mind...
 
Can't complain up by 11, but man we should be up by 20 right now. I hope to god we don't come out slow as usual after halftime and let them right back in it. For once can we have an easy win? Consistently 15 or 20 pt lead most of the 2nd half...PLEASE?! Would be really nice to enjoy a game knowing it's in the bag after so many last second decisions.

If Marco can keep making 3's he can keep that cushion that we have not yet been able to keep.

Phil needs to shoot much less, unless he's close.
Not a PG, and really hurts the team.

Joe3 we are just not that good and I doubt that will happen.
Can we please just win this game, if we do that I will be pleased.
