Yankees Vs Boston

Agree about the Lefty bat. Said it all year too RH heavy. Now if they want to trade a RH bat then I'm all for it.

3. Will they go over? In some ways, that is about Bryce Harper and Manny Machado. I would put the chances of Harper at close to zero. Whether right or wrong, the Yankees see Harper as the kind of sideshow they want to avoid. Plus, there is no obvious place to play him unless they hope he could handle first.

Machado fits so much better — and would love to play for the Yankees — because he upgrades the defense at third (Andujar moves to first or becomes a trade candidate) and is a low-strikeout power hitter.

Agree. IMO Harper would mess with the team chemistry. Hopefully, Machado would not. Also, Andujar could be a trade chip for a badly needed starter. It is time to move on from Sabathia.

Do tell?[/quote]

Salary cap issues resulting from Bad Signings including contract lengths A-Rod, Tex, Ellsbury, etc.

If you're a Yankee fan you know very well signings have always come from above. That being said Arod was Hank Steinbrenner before they locked him in a basement. NOBODY had issue with Tex signing at all. He just broke down quick. Ellsbury I'll give you. But nobody bats 1000.

There is a reason he's been GM for 20 years. If he was bad he would be long gone. It's NY.

Moose-For the most part I agree. But he has been leading since George's decline and death. You're right about Hank though. Cash has had a big bank to back up his mistakes and successes.
