Yankees Vs Boston

Sounds like a cop out but would rather lose like that in game 3 than lose a heartbreaker. Hope hicks can go tonight.

I started to pull the plug at 3-0. It was obvious from the first batter, when Betts almost hit one over the centerfield fence, that Severino had nothing.
I went over to Monday Night Football, checked back in to see Lynn walk in run 4, then tuned in during the 9th inning too see our latest bullpen addition, Austin Romine.

Have no faith in CC tonight, and I expect Porcello to come up big for the Red Sux tonight. Series over.

I have more faith in CC than I had Severino last night. I actually wanted CC in game 3 and Severino in game 4.

And unclothed.

You can't trust CC tonight, you never know what you'll get from him.
I'd start Happ, minus Friday, he always pitched good vs Boston, and what did he throw, 40-45?
I'd go with him tonight, but retard has to go with cc, F BOONE. Really getting to hate this asshole.
Tanaka would go Thursday on a full 4 days rest.
Boone is a real freaking genius though, lets see how pitching CC turns out.

Lastly, remember Boston celebrated a few weeks ago on our turf, tonight would give them the ultimate joy to celebrate on yankee stadium turf twice in one year, they then could claim the Yankee stadiu is second home.
That would be the ultimate slap to every die hard Yankee fan.
Tonight we'll find out if this team has any heart, dignity, and self respect, or will they just lay down quietly tonight.
If Boston celebrates here tonight, I'll lose all respect for them, and I promise I won't watch them next year.
Wear that jersey with some f'ing pride, or get off the team.

Am I the only one who thinks Angel Hernandez should be removed as the HP umpire tonight? After all the attention he got last night (and the only really egregious missed call was Didi in the 4th inning, but man, was that a doozy), IMO, he would be too much of a distraction back there.

We may need Angels in the outfield.

Some lineup changes. Walker in for Andujar at 3rd, Hicks back at center but Gardy moves to left and McCutchen is sitting.

lol you really have to ask?
Sitting Holt after hitting for the cycle. First player in post season history to do so.

Sitting him against the lefty Sabathia.

With Sox loading up with righties and Sabathia's ground ball tendencies, Walker plays third base. When Judge was hurt late in the season, Walker would play third, Andujar would sit or DH with Stanton going to RF.

I can see your point about Happ and he has been very good bu so hast CC who has been their most consistent pitcher most of the year (more so than Severino who had a stellar first half and a "meh" second half. I say most because Happ migh have been more consistent since the trade in July). Sabathia for the most part guts out five or six innings and if he is really on, a lot of soft contact. .

You can and should blame Boone for some very, very, very, very bad decisions last night. As for the starting rotation for the playoffs, he did not make that decision alone, it was an organizational one and done by consensus. That is why a lot of these teams wait to name who is starting (unless they have a clear ace like Verlander) and say they have to go back and review things and discuss.

Losing tonight and having them celebrate for a second time on our field would more than just suck. However, if they do lose, it does not mean they don't have heart and pride. If they just mail it in, you might have a point but I am not expecting (or I am hoping) they don't just mail it in.

Lastly, did you stop watching them after the most historic, embarrassing, collapse, choke job in baseball, the 2004 LCS? Now talk about mailing a game in (Game 7).

Well, we have our answer about CC tonight. And seems like the offense has disappeared once again. Still a lot of time left, 4-0 Red Sox in the top of the 5th. But I am not too optimistic.

Stanton is overrated and makes too much money.yes he can hit the long ball but that’s it few more inning to go .Yesterday, said they can not beat
Boston would be nice if I were wrongs they are hard to watch yesterday and today. But hey, they won over 100 games

Cashman has very mixed results in his time as GM.

Look how easy they are making outs. Ground out after ground, pop up after pop up. Did they anything last night, or was it just the same thing?
Looks like they're laying down to me. 2 runs total in 15innings at home, and dont tell me, oh you gotta tip your hat to the opposing pitcher. I remember games vs pitchers with 5+ ERA's and you'd hear boone: "tip your hat to the opposing pitcher, what a joke.
Speaking of Boone, why was CC left in after hitting benewhatever, after that boston had 5 consecutive guys hitting right handed, and you know the rest of the story.

No I didn't stop watching after 04.
