Sorry, can't stand him, and he'll always be a cheater to me.
 
Fried has something going on. One bad start after another the last 6 weeks. He did get screwed on a strike 3 call that should have been the 3rd out, but he needs to get the 3rd out there. The little cheater's homer was also with 2 outs. This happens to Yankees pitchers far too often, not being able to get out of innings with 2 outs.

Didn't make a difference, this offense once again was asleep all day. The Astro starter had a 5+ ERA and shut them down.

Anyone that thinks this team can turn it around is nuts. I don't care how easy the schedule gets. The makeup of this team and staff negates any chance of anything positive happening.

Listen to Idiot Boone in the postgame. He is truly and Idiot and clueless. He has zero answers. And he's the leader of this sinking ship.

Even he admits it's been a terrible 2 months. So why is he still the manager?
 
I have not followed much baseball in years but I was of the opinion that the Yankees made a terrible mistake when they fired Girardi and hired Boone on the basis that they wanted someone to mollycoddle the young players. They got the mollycoddling and also got the results that come with lack of accountability and putting a positive spin on everything.

I can see the argument that Girardi might have been TOO old school for today's players (although I don't agree), but there were better ways to go about this than hiring Boone who wasn't qualified for the job in the first place and hasn't gotten any better at it since.''

And the amazing thing is he will probably be back next year. George is spinning in his grave.
 
Nice easy win tonight. Thought Rodon would never get through the 2nd inning, but he really settled down.
