Yankees 2025 Season

“Rivera smoked a single and ran to first base with no issues, but in the bottom half of the inning, Rivera was in center field when he fell to the ground during a Willie Randolph at-bat. He took a step before crumpling down again.”

I suggest no more outfield play for Mariano, who tore his ACL shagging flies in the outfield before a game in 2014.

This was also the first Old Timers Game since 2019. Might be the last.

Holy crap, The Pretenders won a game.

Does Idiot Boone ever listen to himself talk? This team never makes a mistake in his world.

Nice outing by Gil. Big blast from Grisham.

2 for 10 with RISP, but only 2 strikeouts today.

Yikes, 2 more errors.

Once again the Yankees are behind early because they have no idea how to get the little cheater out. What do their advance scouts do? Do they not know how to get the little cheater out? Just another in the long line of brutal things the team and Idiot Manager does wrong.

Some guys just have good numbers against certain teams no matter what you do or try. I think the way the fans get on him jacks him up and makes him even more focused.

Oh by the way cheaters or not, he’s a pretty damn good hitter and all around player.

Another in a line of Yankee Killers that going back to my childhood included pitcher Frank Larry of the Detroit Tigers up through the hated Red Suxs David Ortiz and Rafael Devers

Correa and Altuve punished Yankee pitching this weekend, demonstrating that 2017 was just a few days ago. The special surprise today was the cleanup hitter, batting less than .238 when the game started, contribute 3 hits and a walk. I guess we should be happy the Yankees only struck out 7 times which is far under their average.

Thankfully, Cleveland lost, so we still hold the 3rd wildcard.

Of our 44 remains games, 23 are against either the Twins, the White Sox, the Nationals, or the Orioles. In this bad 2-month stretch, the only series we had against teams that were that bad, were at home against the A's, and the Orioles. They went 4-2 in those series, so it's time to start doing some damage, especially with the schedule starting to turn in our favor, finally.

That being said, Fried needs to be better. If he's hurt, put him on the IL, because he's not helping us, right now.
