Nice sweep over a pitching rich team, although the Yanks are no slouch in that regard. Hopefully the hitting picks up. Would love to put a hurt on the Astros.

Nice outing by Cortes. Hamilton screwed up the win for him. He still doesn't look right.

Oh, and by the way, the Statue (Stanton) still sucks.

Hate losing to these effing cheaters. Stroman seems to behind every hitter and count goes to 2-3 or 3-2 it seems like every hitter. Put the team in a hole early on.

The hitting on this team is either very good or bad. Tonight the bad reveled itself. 0 for 7 with RISP.

Wells really has trouble with opponent's baserunning.
 
Great job by Schmidt and the bullpen tonight, although Holmes tried to give it away. Nice offensive night for Rizzo, Stanton, Trevino and Berti, although Berti had a stupid baserunning brain fart with Soto on deck. Every Torres at bat is a weak one.

The Rays ran the bases like the Yankees typically do.

Cortes has to be better on the road. His splits are atrocious. He also needs to lay off the plate umpires. He's gaining a reputation, and it's not good. Behind far too many hitters to be effective.

Another Yankees game, another boneheaded baserunning mistake by Grisham. He brings zero value to this team. I think he's also overrated as an outfielder. Stupid mistake with Soto coming up with potentially 2 runners on in a tight game.

And Boone trying to outsmart everyone with another lineup flavor, this one with light hitting Berti in front of a hot Rizzo. Boone's an idiot.

Middle of the lineup 0 for 11. Jekyll and Hyde lineup returns over the last 2 games.
