it was the greatest victory in the long and storied history of the yankees.guardians rivalry.
the cashman pen sealed the win.
 
game 13.
I put the game on when it was the 6th inning and 11 to rizzo. had my monthly civil war meeting.
well my thoughts on Volpe winning ROY was sad.
well my thoughts on brito winning ROY was sad. actually played too many games to qualify.
yankee sticks are too streaky.

Who would you have put in instead? Presumably they brought him in in the 8th because the heart of the Twins lineup was due up and I suppose Holmes was the one they most trusted. Before the season started all the conversation was about who was going to play left field and shortstop. My concern was that we did not have a closer and we still don't.
 
Just don’t put enough runners on base to sustain a rally. Only one walk, Volpe. Cabrera a great find, but he doesn’t get a hit he does not get on. His OBP is basically is BA.
