Don’t think he will be running back to LA to see this. It’s a shame there are people (criminals) out there that will take any opportunity they can to destroy property and loot. It takes away from the achievements of the victors and those fans who share in it.

I hadn’t realized that but I still would have started the inning with the closer. If anything, give Holmes another batter, he had only faced one guy and struck him out. Win or lose with your best.

Boone is hardly known for his bullpen acumen so I’m sure none of you are surprised that his constant changing of pitchers screwed them.

Yup that was clearly the play that cost them the game and it was 100% Cole’s fault.

In the WS you do. You gotta catch that freaking ball period, no excuses.
The lights had an impact? He been making that catch all year, then in the WS all of a sudden it had an impact? Nope.

During my mid childhood & high school years i can recall... '82-92..ages 7-17), it wasn't a great time to be a young Yankees fan. Mid pack of league & bad decisions & turnoil....I'd read Daily News every day before school. Steinbrenner was a mess with most decisions (managerial or player). It made for entertainment but not too much more. Few saving graces... it was my childhood sport hero Don Mattingly to make my memories still fun.

It was when Steinbrenner started to step away from most decisions in early 90's that team started to transform and ultimately turn in 1996 champs
