Yankees - 2020
Here we go again with the damn injuries. Paxton on the shelf 3-4 months for back surgery. Ugh!
You know his back was hurting last season right, last season ended in late october.
He could of had it in November, so 3-4 months he's out?
He'd be coming back this month or in March. Why wait until it's almost spring training to get back surgery?

I guess Cashman couldn't say that if you need surgery to get it in November, or you won't get paid until you're able to perform on the mound.
Sports players got it made. Do what you want, when you want.

Judge shoulder barking again.
I think he will just always be one of those guys never healthy

155 games, 112 games, 102 games.

Yeah HBP is a fluke. But even after 2017 he had shoulder surgery and that was the only year he played a 'full' year. If you recall he slumped bad at the end of the year and surgery wasn't a surprise.

Cashman has made a lot of great moves but.....
Last spring training cashman signed severino to a 4 year extension then shelved last year and to start this year issues

Last spring training he signed hicks to a 7 tear extension. Still haven't seen him

Cashman has had hits and misses all throughout his time as GM.

Cashman has been so much better over his tenure than the imposters across town.
Brodie with his deal for Cano and Diaz is terrible, especially with Cano due over $100M with his contract. Steve Cohen would have loved to fire his ass.
Sandy Alderson sold off whatever talent the Mets had to keep the payroll as low as possible, but signed David Wright to a 7-year contract extension for $138 million which turned out to be a disaster.
And how can anyone forget Jim Duquette trading Scott Kazmir to Tampa Bay for Victor Zambrano. He also traded Jose Bautista to Toronto for batting practice baseballs.

I agree, the Hicks signing was a bad move. Have heard more than once that, despite being an elite level athlete, he has a suspect work ethic.

Not nearly as bad as the Stanton contract, but....

Thought he was done with taking him ruble contracts

Understand a little cause up nothing for Stanton but didn't need him
