I personally like to share feedback and observations from people I know have credibility. I obviously don’t have perfect record, but try to be candid and clear. That said, this portal mania activity is far less predictable and more fluid than high school recruiting. I don’t envy staff who work hard to position the program to close only to have the situation take a u turn.

you are a known source so i can speak for many when i say we appreciate you sharing everything you hear! my issue has been with this Y2 guy who appeared out of nowhere and people clinging onto his every tweet when half have been wrong. we know portal is chaotic and fluid, so it's the "LOCK" terms that bothers me when nothing it seems is ever a lock

Or people realize the reality, no one really knows anything until the ink starts to dry. Enjoy following the gossip, nothing wrong with that, but that’s all it is.
 
I think we've all recalibrated expectations of how much of a "straightforward trajectory" these recruitment battles go, and thus, need to take everyone's insight with a grain of salt. I do enjoy the gossip of it, and it's a reason I was drawn to the board a long time ago.

Definitely don't feel shy to share any info you've got. It's on us as adults to not dictate our mental state. lol. I feel kind of sucked in to this offseason, but I know I'm definitely going to be following it less next year.

Totally agree. It's like a bunch of little kids on this site. None of this stuff is set in stone. If you have kids you realize they change their minds every five minutes.

Yes - and it doesn't help when guys like y2 (who does seem to have good info) talk about LOCKS when we all know there is no such thing.

I’ve done the same this past year or so. It’s no longer worth sharing insider news.
 
At this point, I'd say fuggedabout Jamir. There's greed and then there's greed. This is worse than the Cliff nonsense.
We don't need this guy or his drama. I hope we pass on him or he passes on us. We don't need another Small Forward. We need a Power Forward. So Pitino go out and get one or save the scholarship.
