I just broke it down in the bracketology thread. What it comes down to is, next game is a must win, and then 2 more wins after that should be put us comfortably in 3rd, and I don't see the committee only taking 2 BE teams.

I just broke it down in the bracketology thread. What it comes down to is, next game is a must win, and then 2 more wins after that should be put us comfortably in 3rd, and I don't see the committee only taking 2 BE teams.

It's simple as that, 112. If we finish 3rd in the BE, we are definitely in. Finish 4th and we are likely in. That would mean finishing ahead of two other bubble teams (Out of MU, X and Gtown). The Big East will definitely have more than two teams in the tourny.

Agreed Sirvoo. Same with people saying that we need to win the Tournament. We don't need to win the Big East Tournament to get in as of right now. Beat Xavier & DePaul, those are home games that we can't afford to lose. Even if we lose to Marquette we still won't need to win the Big East Tournament, maybe a game to be on solid footing, two to be in great shape. That being said, lets go out there and just win the damn thing so we can have no stress on Selection Sunday :woohoo:

I hope we do too but I've been fearful of Marquette game on the road since we smoked them. Can we go 2-1 and finish 3rd or 4th? That's the question to me.

Yeah I think if we lose tomorrow we may need a run to the BE finals but if we win these next two huge games we are in decent shape. Essentially a must-win tomorrow because of how important the game is in the BE standings for us.
