I would love college basketball a lot less if this happened. In years that St. John's didn't make the tournament, I'd probably barely watch if the little guys get squeezed out. Jeez, talk about ruining a great thing. How much money do power conferences really freaking need?

if that happened and SJU wasn't in the tourney in a given year I wouldn't watch. Like you said the fun is watching the upsets

There are two things that draw the non diehard fan to the NCAA tournament these days:
1. Bracket pools
2. David v Goliath.

What were some of the most watched basketball games this year?
St. Francis.

Take away No. 2 and you're taking away a ton of money.
