who will be the new coach

I think Danny H.
Cheapest best alternative. Other options too rich for SJU

Look who likes polls now!

No idea why Pecora is on the list. I think at last count he was 44-753,233 as a head coach and falling.

There is also zero chance of Masiello to SJU, so that was another wasted option.

Tim Cluess, Archie Miller, Rick Pitino, Richard Pitino would all have been better selections.

thanks for playing.

There is 2 serious candidates that SJU will consider. Mullin and Hurley.
I don't think Mullin is interested so we will have Hurley.

Wasn't the rumor pre-Lavin that Mullin would come aboard with pre-Fordham Pecora as an assistant?

Other than Mullin, the entire list is a joke. The Hurleys are Atlantic 10 material at this point. I'll admit their resumes are better than Mahoney/Roberts at their points of hire...but not much better than Fran.

Does Chris Mullen coach scare anyone else but me.Does his basketball accomplishments add up to good coach?I pray if he gets the job he gets some local well connected assistants.

Any other suggestions?

So if CM doesn't want to coach and Danny Hurley will only agree to the 7 year 11MM offer he wanted from Rutgers, then what?

There is an extremely steep drop off in candidates. Come on all those 'in the know' tell us the leadership at STJ 'has a plan'.
