What Won This Game For Us

INSTANT REPLAY!!!
PC was on a roll, refs called 4th foul on D'Lo
If the call stood, D'Lo gets pulled and the whole complexion of the game changes
But the foul is switched to CO and both get to stay in the game at a critical time
D'Lo is the heart and soul of this team
We wouldn't have won this game without him on the floor for the duration

excellent point

Three point shooting differential. The same thing that lost us the Butler and Seton Hall games.

Lavin taking it to Cooley in the coaching department. Not as easy for Cooley when he doesn't have a team that leads the nation in FT shooting % like last year.

Providence had 13 extra possessions but 13 less points at home. I don't Cooley is a bad coach, but it is puzzling to me how so many anit-Lavin posters are so positive about Cooley when there might not be a coach in the country more similar to Lavin.

Alibegovic!!!. Played a hell of a game. If you told me Obepka was going to play 23 minutes, 5 rebounds and we win I would say no way.
He seriously looked good but I think we won because Jordan only had 3 to's and we hit so many open jumpers

The crowd got going with the inevitable run and it got scary but who thought it was going to be easy, yet the team was not flustered. I din't notice it at all. When Obeka found Green in the corner for the three after thinking about scoring himself down low, Lavin really showed his emotion. He was so into it realizing how big a shot that was, that he ran down the side line shouting. Game changing, multiple possession sequence.

I think the replay call was a total joke. It wasn't a matter of them seeing a foul and picking the wrong number, 11 vs. 12. It was a matter of a ref seeing Harrison's arm extend to a PC shoulder, and calling THAT a foul, but on replay when they saw that Harrison's contact with the guy was almost non-existent, looked and decided Obekpa had committed a foul under the hoop. Since Obekpa ultimately fouled out, that would have been a dagger had Obekpa fouled out with us up 2 points, not after a double digit lead. These guys just suck.

I can read lips. Lavin was so pumped up and muttering, "Eff Avon. Eff JohnnyFan. Eff Logen"

:)

the bench gave good minutes. Obekpa plays very unselfish despite some bad decisions on defense. we got jobbed a lot on the calls. Providence was practically climbing out guys without getting calls then Pointer and Obekpa get a couple of mystery calls against them - granted a couple of Obekpa's were just knucklehead fouls. It was almost as bad as the home town refs at Cameron that tried to take the game from Miami last night...
