@West Virginia, Fri., Dec. 1, 7p, ESPN-2

Actual game talk…give Alleyne all the roses. I’m rooting for him for obvious reasons but it felt so good to see him change the way we played. Huge three, great D. BS traveling call.

Taylor, great 2nd half. His drive and feed into Soriano to get us a little separation was huge. Hit a couple of huge buckets and played some good defense toward the end.

Ledlum, still a work in progress, but he played good tonight. Defense, eh…but he was solid on offense and didn’t look out of control.

Uneven game from Soriano but that’s just because i/we are used to his big performances. Missed a bunch of FTs but hit 2 big ones when we needed them with about a minute left.

Wilcher needs to be baptized by fire in December. I can’t stand Jenkins. I actually like watching the offense when he’s out. They share the ball and guys have a chance to find their roles.

They did us a huge favor going zone and forcing the ball out of his hands and making us run the offense through the man at the FT line.

It was nice to get the win. Regardless of the refs we fouled way too much. We need Dingle to score more. I felt Alleyne saved us at the end. Good games by Ledlum and Soriano.
Without Luis I think games like BC and Hofstra won't be easy. The Xavier and UCONN games will take a lot to get a win. Hopefully he is back for Butler. The problem is whenever he gets back it's going to take a while to reintegrate him. I really want to make the NCAA's but it's going to be tough.

Any road win is a good win but please, let’s not over rate this win. Consider the fact that Slazinski, a kid who Pitino could care less that he left, is one of their best players. Other good players for them are out in a struggling year. Yes any road win is great but WV may be no better then a 10 th or 11th place BE conference team. And are we not expecting to beat those teams on the road?

On to the next game. Luis news is terrible.

Taylor is a team player, man. Always looking to do the little things and get others involved.

It’s a pain for those who DVR’d the game
Yes they missed both the beginning and the end of the game.

First time that I can recall them switching like that, usually it’s the later game that gets moved until the earlier one finishes. I guess they wanted to ensure the marque matchup of the last two NCAA Champions stayed on the ESPN2.
