Welcome Posh
Great add.....

but read a post by Dave on JJ that said there could be academic eligibility concern - has to make up ground there and a reason why there were not too many offers. Have no idea if true but he seems plugged into the recruiting scene, especially local.

Here's to a strong senior year academically and on court...
Funny he never questioned anyone that you know who brought in. They were the best things since sliced bread.

I think Posh will be fine on that end. It’s real early and I’m sure this staff doing their homework.

There is ample time to address any issues if there are any. I am not worried about this.

#111 Butler (Myles Tate)
#133 Colby Jones (Xavier)

2020 Team Rankings via 247 Composite:
#2 Xavier

Obviously we'll need more recruits to maintain that team ranking, but if we finish ranked #32 I'll be pretty happy.

I think Posh's ranking will go up, even if he just has an OK season. The injury last year, cost him about 50 spots. If he stays healthy, he should regain at least part of that automatically.
mjmaherjr renews his season tickets this morning and Posh commits tonight. What a day for St Johns :)
And most importantly, what a day for future pale ale sales at MSG.B)

The most important thing Adam is that
WE ARE MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
with recruiting, facilities, staff, fans, excitement. atmosphere and all.
I kinda get the feeling that the StJohn’s program finally has mature experienced leadership with AD Cragg, and coaches Anderson, Cleveland, Macon, and DeMoo.

Positive things happen with hard work.
Yep Otis hard work
but imo Coach Roberts worked hard
so it's hard work
AND
talent
our coaches have coaching talent :)

Yes welcome Mr. Posh - and like Mark Jackson, Malik Sealy and other locals kids,
YOUR FAMILY GETS TO SEE YOU PLAY IN PERSON, EVERY GAME
how sweet that is!!!
Have a great experience at St. Johns on and off the court.

You're gonna have to cut back on lobster rolls.B)

Welcome aboard kid!..:silly:

If he didn’t get hurt he would be ranked even higher. This kid is a big time point guard. Hopefully other players realize that and jump on board.

Go Redmen!!

He’s full of it. Joke.

The euphoria has died down as it is over 24 hours since Posh announced and it is great to sit back and reflect. What this commitment shows is that in just two months after hiring a full staff they were able to go out and make up ground and get a high level recruit to commit. Why and how, because we have 4 coaches who are all involved in recruiting, because we have 4 coaches who are all involved in coaching, because we have a head coach who has had success at three different schools, two of which were high major, and he has a vision and a realistic plan to get there and the entire staff is executing his plan. This is not a question of hit and miss recruiting but rather a well thought out decision by the staff to accept the commitment of perhaps not the highest ranking pg they were after, as we are involved with a few, but of not waiting until the last minute and being left standing at the Alter alone, and taking the commitment of a very solid player.
Personally I have now raised my expectations towards our 2020 class, calling WCJD, as we got the most important piece so early. With Posh on board in August staff can focus on the high ranking wings, Richmond and a big to complete the real first class. I believe they will get it done. Very impressed.

The bias of there is getting ridiculous and starting to drive me away from the site. Another poster noted how Zach's article on the commit, while referencing Macon, wasn't such that half the article focused on the "sole recruiter" who landed Posh. Something that jumped out to me as well.

Redstorm NC, I would thank Rob too if I understood his post. Care to rephrase Rob, curious as to the point you were trying to make. Thanks. Hey Moose I guess I'm bored too as Mets squander one opportunity after another to put away the Braves tonight.
