Pitino playing 4D Chess. As the program’s bishop, SJU will no longer be a BE pawn, the current administration will not rook us into accepting mediocrity, the Garden games will be eventful (k)nights, while this university in Queens will be a king in college basketball.

I know Matt for a shorter period than Panthèr but have had dinner with him and chatted frequently. Guy loves SJU and I too believe he will be a good asset to the staff going forward.
Was sad to see him go and happy to have him return.

Apologies as I missed this. What is Matt's official title w that staff?
 
This guy almost hits the Alex Evans' mark for tenure under different coaching staffs.

Of course, has a ways to reach the Ron Linfonte record.

Not sure what the school will title it but basically it’s like GM of hoops he will be dealing with NIL and helping with all his recruiting contacts and stuff. Villanova just hired Baker Dunleavy for this. Rick is going to use every edge he has and can create to win here. It’s pretty much that simple

Very happy to have Matt back too, just hope he loves SJU more this time around then last time 😉
