Defensively, there was a lot to like that half. That side of the ball was not the problem.I’ll put it this way. We’re up by 9, won the turnover battle, only down 1 on rebound difference, and held them to 22% shooting & numerous possessions that resulted in a shot clock violation or desperation heave with 1sec left — but no ones happy.
I’m not happy either but it shows how much better this team is compared to other years.
The constant fouling by Wagner hurt us, in a way. Not only have we missed 9 foul shots, but it's prevented this game from getting into any kind of flow. We can't go up and down the court with all the whistles.
