Hate to tell you guys, but this team has been much better with Luis on the floor, lack of passing or not.

He just can’t hit his FTs. SMH
Brady , Luis and Wilcher need to be on the floor. Luis is our best player and Wilcher and Brady seem to be our only shooters. This team needs a lot of work.

Another slow start offensively. Poor foul shooting, poor rebounding, where’s Kadary? It’s nice to experiment with starting line ups in the exhibition season but the real season arrives next week and a slow start could be a disaster.

Ugly first half. Bad free throw shooting, not much rhythm on offense and abysmal on the glass. Defense looks strong at least. Need to come up better in the second half

I understand it may be tough to get all fired up for a game against a team you’re supposed to crush.

But some of the body language of this team is bothering me. Particularly some of the new comers like Smith and Richmond.

I don’t think I have seen our full court pressure be effective since Pitino has been here. It’s not speeding up our opponent and it’s not causing turnovers. This team was supposed to be built for that.

I’ll put it this way. We’re up by 9, won the turnover battle, only down 1 on rebound difference, and held them to 22% shooting & numerous possessions that resulted in a shot clock violation or desperation heave with 1sec left — but no ones happy.

I’m not happy either but it shows how much better this team is compared to other years.

I noticed the same but I wonder if it’s from the rotating starting line ups. At this point, going into a tough stretch of the schedule, roles should be established and players should feel confident in their roles. I see none of that with this team and can see why Kadary would be miffed.
