The last couple of 3's were contested. Harris (Wagner) is just feeling it.

No worries, as we'll still win this one. But too close then what I liked.
 
I agree with The Tux, we can not continue to lose the 3pt shooting battle by 15 - 20 pts every game. A good team puts Wagner away the first 5 minutes of the second half and wins the game by 25. This effoet tonight was not good enough to beat any team in the Big East. I believe we'll win some games but there is a ton of work still to be done with this team before we can start talking about the NCAA Tournament. Very disappointed with their play tonight.

According to Rivals Lavin has made offers to 14 recruits and has thus far failed to get any commit.

Given the fact that St.John's hasn't obtained a commit then redshirting Felix makes sense to balance classes.

that's a mistake. We didn't hit a 3 all game. I think the official scorer mistook Balamou for a Wagner player with the same number

I also figured that was a mistake. I don't recall him playing at all. I think it's been mentioned that he'll be redshirted.

yeah the SNY tv box score doesn't have that 3. Espn is wrong
 
IMHO = in my "humble" opinion.
but what do I know amidst so many smart guys.

with the big lead I'd like to see Hooper get a solid 5 minutes. If he blows that then bench him otherwise let him get a feel for the game.

Glad to see some solid improvement on D. Pointer still playing too far off his man IMHO

Balamou did not play in the game and if he did I doubt he would have made a three pointer.

Overall the offense was lousy(40% shooting) against a mediocre team. The defense was a little better but I think that was more a result of Wagner not being very good. The excellent free throw shooting(especially Harrison) was the key to the game and the fee throw opportunities were a result of the difference in athleticism. I thought Jordan was terrible. Thank goodness for Harrison, as he will need to carry this team again.

I wish they would give Hooper a chance. I am sweating the Bucknell game,(Bucknell beat Penn State by 10).
