Wagner, Fri. Nov. 13, 6pm - FS1 & WMCA AM 570

If Lovett is eligible this season, I hope we learn to set picks for shooters. I would start Ellison or Jones over either Williams or Mvouika. They have both really struggled and need to watch a little. If Lovett is not eligible this season it will be tough to watch.

Honestly I know its only been 80 minutes and about 50 of those weve looked terrible, but I actually like the movement on offense. There was two sets that they were running off of the whole Sonama game which I think gives us a pretty good glimpse of what to come. Lots of cross screens, hedges for shooters, high ball screens, and the biggest difference is seemingly no ball screens on the wing.

I think Mussini will get good looks with Lovett on the court. But who knows how much they have got to play with each other in the preseason. More often then not they are probably facing each other.[/quote

In our first game I was particularly impressed with our guards penetration and pass off to the corner for an open three point shot.We didn't see this with last years squad under Lavin.

@NYPost_Brazille: Sounds like Felix Balamou (triceps) remains a question mark for Friday. #sjubb

I never thought the best thing that could happen was for Felix to get healthy quickly. We can use any help we can get.

In the Norm era I began to look forward to attending the non-conference games as potentially the best because they were more likely winnable. I guess it's one way to look at this season without getting too bent out of shape.

Good for Felix & hopefully us;
@CNG_Staszewski: Felix Balamou is available tomorrow against Wagner, Mullin said. #sjubb

I'm driving in from New Jersey and it's been some time since I've been to Carnesecca Arena. Can anyone suggest a place to eat and a place to park?

Real happy about Balamou. Against Wagner he could be a useful defender and maybe even get a dunk.

Expecting a win tomorrow. I think Wagner will be overconfident.

Park in the parking garage on campus. Never any traffic and plenty of spots at all times.

As for food, Regina's Pizzeria isn't bad for a quick bite and it's right at the corner of Union and Utopia.
