First regular season game.

Who starts?

If Lovett is cleared I would go with

Lovett
Mussini
Johnson
Yakwe ( if cleared)/ Chris Jones (if yakwe not cleared )
Sima

I would probably play 9 or 10 deep unless team is in foul trouble or game is a blow out.

Lovett
Mvouika
Johnson
Jones
Sima
If Lovett is eligible I think everyone would agree w Lovett, Johnson, Sima as starting, I'm not a big Jones Fan, but based on the exhibition games. Jones looked much better than Williams and deserves to start. The only question is should you start Mvouika over Mussini. Based on the last game, I can see your argument. BT W Hollifield looked very comfortable, was a pleasant surprise, and should get more burn. Re, Sima I believe he will be a future pro and the only question regarding him is,will he be around all 4 years? For a young ,raw project, he looked impressive.

It's fitting that we are on WMCA - "The Home of the Good Guys"
I think that I still have my "Good Guys" sweatshirt but it doesn't fit anymore :(

Lovett
Mussini
Durand
Jones
Sima

Ellison, Mvouika, Felix, Williams, Amar is not an awful bench.

Lovett might play 35 minutes per if cleared.

If LOVETT STARTS MUSSINI SHOULD ALSO .You will see a different player when he is at the off guard It will rain 3s

I would go bigger than with the two small guards, Lovett, Johnson, Williams, Jones and Sima

Lovett
Mvouika
Johnson
Jones
Sima

I feel that Mussini will be one of those squirrley players that moves well off the ball, sneaking around picks to get open to receive the ball in a catch-n-shoot position... I hope!

If Lovett is eligible this season, I hope we learn to set picks for shooters. I would start Ellison or Jones over either Williams or Mvouika. They have both really struggled and need to watch a little. If Lovett is not eligible this season it will be tough to watch.

Honestly I know its only been 80 minutes and about 50 of those weve looked terrible, but I actually like the movement on offense. There was two sets that they were running off of the whole Sonama game which I think gives us a pretty good glimpse of what to come. Lots of cross screens, hedges for shooters, high ball screens, and the biggest difference is seemingly no ball screens on the wing.

I think Mussini will get good looks with Lovett on the court. But who knows how much they have got to play with each other in the preseason. More often then not they are probably facing each other.

You are going to drive yourselves crazy! Don't include Lovett until you see him play. Haven't we been down this road before. My prediction is he gets cleared in middle of season by which time it just makes sense to redshirt for next year.

BTW not a great Wagner team so we should win.

Oh Yeah

From the ESPN Insider NEC Conference Preview:

Sleeper

Wagner Seahawks

Coach Bashir Mason has a couple of potential all-league players in Mike Aaman and Dwaun Anderson. Aaman is a Rhode Island transfer who proved himself last season, especially down the stretch when he averaged 12.4 points and 10.5 rebounds over the final 11 games of the season. He's a fifth-year senior -- as is Anderson, the former Michigan State signee who has struggled throughout much of his career. Anderson suffered a broken foot last season, but if healthy, is one of the most athletic guards in the league.

Mason also has three sophomore guards who were all solid as freshmen last season: Corey Henson (9.1 ppg), Romone Saunders (7.9 ppg) and JoJo Cooper (6.9 ppg). Wagner also added another veteran in former Penn forward Henry Brooks via a grad transfer. The 6-foot-8 Brooks was hurt all of last season but made 28 starts as a sophomore for the Quakers. We'll see if the Seahawks can make a jump after finishing 10-20 last season with a bevy of new talent.

If we don't beat this Wagner team, 10 wins for us would be a stretch

If we do lose, who will be first poster(crazy person) to post fire Mullin?

A better question would be who will be the first to post it and really mean it? There are a couple of trolls who will hint at it just to start crap.
