I liked the “Nova must be wearing Orange”

We won this game with 6 kids. Can you imagine what we might be able to accomplish with a full team. ;) It has been like this for years and I am hoping (no praying) that we have a full bench next season. Right now on paper we do. Let's keep it that way.
Game-callers regularly brought our attention to Nova's not having Phil Booth available tonight, but (unless I'm mistaken), never noted that LoVett, our second leading scorer, wasn't available to us.

Looking at Nova, they are, of course, an elite team, but their interior defense is suspect, something that could hurt them as the season goes ont. We were at our best when we took the ball to the basket.
Both Ponds and Lovett were preseason 2nd team all BE making them both top 10 players in the league. Frankly, Ponds should have been 1st team ahead of Carrington (who I like but Ponds is on different level).

Neither Booth nor Paschal were in the top 20 - so excuses should stop.

Just a thought to add on last night's game- I think the man-to-man was very effective most of the game. Looked like we learned how to slide through picks without fouling.

Surprised that nobody posted this. Joe Benigno and John Minko with a nine minute segment on last night's game (Evan is on vacation).

The Nova must be wearing Orange Post is the most backhanded compliment we will ever receive from Cuse faithful and made me feel good about them taking us off the schedule.
