I know nothing but if Luis is having a “shin splint flare up” then you can’t count on him 100% no matter what.

Depth will definitely be tested. Alleyne and Taylor for 30 minutes each?

I remember that game as clear as day. As Mullin went to the line for the front end of his 1 and 1, NBC flashed a graphic that he had 999 career points and the announcers said he would hit 1000. No one expected him to miss. A 3 point lead would be all she wrote as there was no 3 point shot yet. I still can’t believe Pinone hit that elbow jumper. Cost us an outright Big East regular season championship. We ended up in a three-way tie, sharing the title with Nova and BC.

Regarding the last time we started the BE 3-1, we have to go back to Lavin’s first year with Hardy, DJ and company. Before that 2000-01 season, Omar Cook’s team actually started out the gate 5-1 in conference before losing 7 of 10 to finish .500 in league play.
I was at that game , I believe in early 83. We were all in shock. What a sad and quiet ride back to Queens it was.

This really sucks I really thought we were gonna beat Nova today but without Ledlum and Luis I can’t see that happening. Without Ledlum the rebounding takes a major hit look how many second chances we gave up to Hofstra without him. Luis is so talented but is this guys shins made out of glass every time he starts to show what he can do he gets hurt again.

If this game was tonight it would have hit 20 pages before it started. I have a feeling we will see over 70 pages once we are through with this thread.

Prediction:

Dunlap to start for Ledlum, 8-10 from 3ball range and 32pnts, plus 2 blocks and 2 steals.

Surprise of the game: Wilcher, He watched Dunlap have his breakout game vs Butler, and said to himself: "why not me."

11pnts, 12dimes, and 10boards, plus 3 steals.
Yeah, a triple double just like that, would be amazing right?

And Pitino would be smoking a cigar on the sidlines saying "Damn, I even got my Freshmen rocking now."

Do fairytales come true….. not often. Pitino didn’t even put Wilcher in the game against UConn and now he faces perhaps the best and most experienced back court in the league and you think Wilcher will have a breakout game? That takes positive thinking to another level. Of course I hope you’re right but I’ve been hoping to win Power Ball for 50 years.

No matter who plays I think this team will battle. We have veteran players in Jenkins, Taylor, Alleyne and Soriano. Taylor has shown he is capable of holding his own. Brady, Traore, Zuby,Wilcher and Conway need to be ready as who knows whose number will get called and when. Won't be easy but lets try to stay as positive as possible.

Facts! Still more than enough talent to leave the Main Line victorious.

I’m out of town and just catching up. Are Luis and Ledlum definitely out today or just questionable?
