I know we all want this game badly.
But he shouldn’t play if he’s not 100%. We need him 100% down the stretch in Feb/March. Don’t push it for now.
Dunlap showed he’s at ready for some minutes in this one. Glenn Taylor I assume will not get 8 seconds of PT
I say sit Ledlum tomorrow. RJ I don’t even know what to say cause wtf are shin splints?????

Going to be tough with Ledlum out unless we get a breakout type of game out of Drissa.
I'm not counting pages, a la "Sir" Eric, but we're already up to 13 and will probably be near 20 by game time. Could this game extract a 50 page thread?

Ledlum out guarantees Taylor gets his minutes back tomorrow. Hopefully just a small bursts of Drissa here and there with Taylor eating up the bulk of the minutes at the "4"
Or just go small plus Joel. Drissa got yanked his last appearance for two straight D lapses. Hopefully lesson learned & will help fill some minutes.
Marillac had good suggestion imo, play a wing on Dixon until he abandons hanging out high trying to draw Joel out.

The problem with putting a wing on Dixon is Joel has to guard somebody and Villanova will have 5 shooters on the floor so if not Dixon who is Joel guarding where he won't have to leave the paint?
Plus Dixon has the post game to overwhelm smaller defenders and any help would be leaving a shooter open for Dixon to find

Just cause Dunlap had a few nice shots in a home game doesn’t mean he’s ready to play at Nova and guard all their shooting guards and wing players. Personally, I think he’s in over his head defensively in this game. You guys anointing him as a starter after one game is a bit premature. I’ll be happy if we get 10 good minutes out of him. Also feel that losing Ledlum is a big loss on the boards and takes away an advantage we needed to give Nova a game.

Surprise of the game: Wilcher, He watched Dunlap have his breakout game vs Butler, and said to himself: "why not me."
11pnts, 12dimes, and 10boards, plus 3 steals.
Yeah, a triple double just like that, would be amazing right?
And Pitino would be smoking a cigar on the sidlines saying "Damn, I even got my Freshmen rocking now."

I agree Silly. With Ledlum out and Luis hurting again this is going to be a tough row to hoe for this team especially if they get Moore back. I no longer have any expectations for this game. We need two of our guys to play out of their minds offensively and for the team as a whole to play lockdown D to win this game. Not saying it can’t happen but the odds are against it. Maybe I’ll throw some money on Nova moneyline and be happy to lose it if we find a way to win.
Both Ledlum and Luis need to play and be effective to win in a place where we haven’t won since 1993.
Do we have a confirmation of either of these injuries? Otherwise, this is all speculation.
