I hate that they got to avoid us in that FINAL FOUR, we got stuck with Ewing and Georgetown, if we meet Nova or Memphis State we beat either of them and at least make the Championship Game.

Nova students and fans seem entitled, obviously not 100%, but Jay Wright seems like a good guy.

The fanbase for this team has suffered now for over two decades. The occasional optimism we allowed ourselves was always met with seemingly inevitable dismay. When the big opportunities arose, decades of disappointment robbed us of a confident “we can do this” feeling. The Pitino hire jump-started some hopeful feelings, but then we get blown out by Michigan and lose to the likes of Boston College. So that same old negativism creeps back in. But something happened to my ailing psyche after the Butler game. My old stifled optimism started to stir. MAYBE WE CAN BE REALLY GOOD AGAIN! With the return of Luis and the sudden emergence of Dunlap, maybe we ARE a really good basketball team now…with all the requisite pieces for success. If we can beat Villanova on their court tomorrow, I think I am all in again, just like the old days.

1000%. I texted my brother-in-law, who is dying to be a St. John's fan if they're good, that this team may be worth giving a second chance this year.

Every once in a while but n Redmen/Redfan history a poster gets kinda associated with something on the boards and it sticks. Kranmars-Paragraph Police with Slyfox as his deputy, Monte with porn, gambling and unbelievably hilarious chick stories me being an Elitist and now Eric not for his gambling so much he gets free luxury boxes for at John’s games but he’s now fully Knighted “ Eric The Page Counter “

Maybe as a mod Knight can change Knight Eric’s screen name to Eric The Page Counter “ so we can put the whole Eric and Eric2 controversy to rest :)

Hang in there Gabelmc. FWIW I have suffered through the last (what?) almost 30 years. Like many here. I try to not get too high or too low this season. Here’s why. I expect to win Saturday. However, if we don’t I have complete confidence in the COACH. Adjustments will be made. Doesn’t mean it’s completely fixed or won’t happen again think defensive breakdowns. Of course unlike the past I feel like the COACH or STAFF are all over it trying to figure it out AND the Players are all in listening and working with the Coaches. This guy is on a whole other level.

Sometimes those free “luxury” suites cost me a lot of money!! Sometimes they truly are free. Either way whoever I go with I tell eat and drink as much as you possibly can!!
 
So far, 2-1 (Big East) 10-4 (OVR), We have 17 Big East games left and 9 games are away.

If we win 11 games of 17 games, it will be 13-7 (Big East) 21-10 (OVR). Definitely, will be in Tournament.

We should win Villanova away game tomorrow.
